How to use clotrimazole:
Clotrimazole is for external use only. It is usually applied to the affected area(s) of the skin 2-3 times per day, or as directed by your doctor. Clean and dry the affected area before applying the medication. Do not cover the treated area with a bandage or tight clothing unless directed by your doctor.
Continue to use clotrimazole for the full prescribed length of time, even if symptoms improve before the infection is completely cleared. If the infection does not improve after 1 week of treatment, contact your doctor.
