What is Dovato and what is it used for:
Dovato is a prescription medication used to treat human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) infection in adults. It contains a combination of two antiretroviral drugs: dolutegravir and lamivudine. Dolutegravir belongs to a class of drugs called integrase inhibitors, which prevent the virus from multiplying. Lamivudine belongs to a class of drugs called nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors, which also prevent the virus from multiplying.
