Common Side Effects:

Serious Side Effects:
- Severe allergic reactions (difficulty breathing, hives, swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat)
- Signs of liver problems (upper stomach pain, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stools, jaundice)
- Lactic acidosis (muscle pain or weakness, numb or cold feeling in your arms and legs, trouble breathing, stomach pain, nausea with vomiting)
- New or worsening symptoms of infection (fever, night sweats, swollen glands, mouth sores, diarrhea, stomach pain, weight loss)
- Changes in mood or behavior (depression, anxiety, aggression, confusion, hallucinations, suicidal thoughts)
- Signs of a kidney problem (little or no urination, painful or difficult urination, swelling in your feet or ankles, feeling tired or short of breath)
Notes:
- Isentress should be used with caution in patients with a history of depression or other psychiatric illness.
- It is important to take Isentress as prescribed, at the same time each day.
- Isentress may interact with other medications, so it is important to inform the doctor of all medications being taken before starting treatment.
