Important Warning
Minocycline ER is an extended-release tetracycline-class antibiotic. Its use may cause severe and life-threatening conditions such as intracranial hypertension (increased pressure in the brain), drug-induced lupus-like syndrome, and severe skin reactions.

Avoid prolonged use of this medication, as it may increase the risk of permanent tooth discoloration, especially in children under 8 years of age. Use in pregnant women is not recommended due to potential harm to the fetus, including skeletal development issues.

Uses for Minocycline ER
Minocycline ER is primarily used to treat:

Moderate-to-severe inflammatory acne vulgaris in patients 12 years and older.
It is not indicated for the treatment of non-inflammatory acne or for infections unrelated to acne.
