Indications:
Renova is indicated for the improvement of fine wrinkles, mottled hyperpigmentation, and tactile roughness of facial skin in patients with primarily photoaged skin when used as part of a broad skin care program including sun protection. Renova does not eliminate wrinkles, repair sun-damaged skin, reverse photoaging, or restore more youthful or younger skin.
Dosing:
Renova cream should be applied to the face once a day in the evening, using enough to cover the entire affected area lightly. Patients should be advised to avoid the eyes, ears, nostrils, and mouth, and to avoid unnecessary sun exposure and to use a sunscreen when sun exposure cannot be avoided.
Side effects:
The most common adverse events associated with Renova include erythema, peeling, dryness, burning, stinging, and pruritus at the site of application. These adverse events are usually mild to moderate in intensity and occur early in therapy.
