Schedule 4 and schedule 1 drugs require prescription for personal import. Limit each order to 3 months supply and 14 months supply per year.

Prescription should be from an Australian physician. It is recommended that a copy of the prescription accompany the shipment. Customs office may require you to present your prescription before they clear your package.

Austria

Medicines intended for personal use are permitted only under an import license.
Product should be shipped consigned to a pharmacy.
Prescription drugs should be no more than 3 months’ supply.

Azerbaijan

Bulgaria

Medicines must be approved by the Bulgarian Ministry of Health.

Cambodia

Cameroon

Import of prescription drugs is subject to approval of Health Ministry. Prescription drugs should be no more than 3 months’ supply. Non-prescription drugs should be limited to 5 pieces of each item.

Canada

Pharmacists, Practitioners, drug manufacturers and Foreigners while traveling thru Canada can import prescription drugs.
Canadian residents may not import prescription drugs for personal use unless they do so thru the emergency medical act. Information can be obtained from Canadian practitioner.
Products that are not listed Under Schedule F of the Food and Drug Act may be imported into Canada for personal use, even if they are listed as prescription drugs here in USA.

Egypt

Import Permit issued in advance by the Egyptian Health Ministry is required for import of medicine.

France

Import of Medicines for personal use is subject to an import license issued by the Central Pharmaceutical Service of the Ministry of Health. Import of Viagra and Melatonin for personal use is prohibited.

Germany

Import license from local health ministry is required.
Importation of medicines requires special authorization by German authorities. Product should be shipped consigned to a pharmacy.
Hospital pharmacies can import medicines in small amounts without obtaining an import license.

Greece

Medicines must be packaged in the manufacturer’s container bearing distinctive marks. Medicines must be licensed or specially authorized by the Greek authorities.
A copy of the Doctor’s prescription should accompany the medication.

Greenland

Import license from local health ministry is required.
Product should be shipped consigned to a pharmacy.

Guatemala

All medicines must be accompanied by invoice stating price. The addressee is required to present the invoice with other documents in order to effect customs clearance of the parcel.

India

Doctor’s prescription must accompany personal shipments.
Substantial Duty may apply (30% or more)

Indonesia

Prescription must accompany all packages.
Prescription drugs should be no more than 3 months’ supply.

No duties shall apply if prescription from local doctor accompanies medication.

Israel

Import of medicine for personal use is OK provided recipient has prescription.

Italy

Prescription from Italian physician must accompany all shipments for personal use. Prescription from physicians outside of Italy is not accepted. Import of prescription drugs is subject to approval of Health Ministry. Prescription drugs should be no more than 3 months’ supply. Non-prescription drugs should be limited to 5 pieces of each item. Liquids may not be shipped. Pharmacists, hospitals and Labs recognized by the state can import medicines in small amounts without obtaining a license. Import of psychotropic Drugs are prohibited.

Jamaica

Medicinies must have the name and formula printed in English on the container and wrapper.
Prescription drugs should be no more than 3 months’ supply.
Non-prescription drugs should be limited to 5 pieces of each item.

Japan

Prescription or import permit is not required for import of non-controlled prescription drugs intended for personal use and not for commercial purposes. Prescription drugs should be limited to one month’s supply or one bottle per shipment. Non-prescription drugs should be no more than 5 pieces. Medicines mailed to Physicians, clinics, hospitals or any commercial address may require import permit.

Jordan

Import of prescription drugs is subject to approval of Health Ministry.

Kazakhstan

Contraceptives are prohibited.
Commerical Invoice not required if value is less than US$200.00.

Philippines

Medicines are subject to approval of the health ministry.
Prescription must accompany all packages.

Poland

Please note that new interpretation of personal import law may result in your package being detained by customs in Poland.

In order to release package from customs you will be obligated to perform certain acts before the Customs Office. Our attorney in Poland can help clear customs, however you will be responsible for his fees. If the issue of  the customs clearance is associated with the new interpretation of pharmaceutical law our attorney's fixed fee is 80 PLN.

Please note that if your package is inspected you will be required to pay import duty and fees before you can collect your package.

Portugal

Medicines require the authorization of the Director General of health of Portugal.

Antibiotics require a prescription which must be attached to the commercial invoice.

Taiwan

No license is required provided it is being imported for personal use and the value is less than US$1,000.00.

Medicines are prohibited unless a permit from health ministry is obtained before shipment is made.

United Arab Emirates

Import of medicines require prior authorization and approval of the health ministry.
Prescription must accompany all packages.

United Kingdom

Import of small quantities of non-controlled prescription drugs for personal use does not require an import permit provided it is for personal use of self or member of the immediate family.

The MHRA recommends that a copy of your prescription accompany the package.

Orders of over £15.00 are subject to delay by HM Revenue & Customs. VAT and £8.10 Royal Mail International Handling Fee will have to be paid in order to collect your parcel. Please note that the purchaser is responsible for these charges.

Import of Melatonin is prohibited.

United States

InternationalPharmacy.com does not ship within the United States. As an export house, our license limits us to shipping U.S. drugs from the U.S. to outside of the U.S. only.
